Hi Guys.Happy to meet you with an interesting article.Hope you like it.Dhaam Doom was the latest release in the tamil industry with lot of expectations on the audience side as the film was directed by Jiva and music by Harris JAyaraj.The main cast in the film are Jayam Ravi(Gautam Subramiyam),Kangna Ranaut(senba),Jayaram and Lakshmi Rai.Jayam Ravi is a doctor whose marriage is fixed in a very short time.In the mean while he was selected for a doctor conference in Moscow.With all romance curling between Ravi and Kangna ,Ravi leaves for Moscow.He meets an Russian artist namely ana who is in a smuggling group.Ana was found killed in the room of Ravi for which case he is arrested.The story then moves around ,How Ravi spots the murderer and return back to his native.The plus point of this movie is the songs.Minus point is the inclusion of the songs at irrelevant situations.

It was amazing and Heath Ledger definitely lives up to all expectations. The one thing that no one realized was that Harvey Dent is in the movie. Not only is he in the movie, but he plays the part of Two Face. I guess after Heath Ledger passed away, the focus switched to him and his performance. The movie promoters totally ran with it and promoted the $hit outta him in the movie. I must say, good tactic because it leaves a lot of the plot to speculation. I’ll tell you this, Harvey Dent is in the movie (obviously) and Harvey Dent does become Two Face in the movie. It’s an amazing flick from start to finish and I won’t be spoiling any endings here. Hi Guys .Everyone is anxious of thenext movie of kamal. Kamal Haasan pens the story, screenplay and dialogue apart from sporting 10 different looks in his new film, Dasavatharam. Playing the female lead is Asin, with Jayapradha and Mallika Sherawat in crucial roles. The cast also includes Napoleon, Santhana Bharathi and M S Bhasker. The film introduces to the Tamil arena Himesh Reshammiya, the popular music director of Hindi films. The film is directed by K S Ravikumar.The story, not much of which is revealed out, seems like a travel back in time. One of the roles has Kamal playing Rangaraj Nambi, the episode set in the 12th century. Sharing frames with him here is Napoleon as Kulothunga Chozhan. The Chidambaram temple, horses, elephants, and the set all added to the ambiance. The scene depicted Nambis distress when Chozhan throws the idol of the Lord into the sea.Yet another role has Kamal playing a scientist, the episode set a few centuries back, in America. A set of a laboratory was designed by art director Prabhakar, where the scientist does his research. The episode includes the lab being destroyed in an accident, paving way for the next adventure.A sizzling dance number was picturised on Mallika Sherawat at different locations and night spots in Malaysia. Accompanying Mallika were 20 dancers from the US, and choreographing the number was Brinda.The shots were canned by cinematographer Ravi Varman. Produced by V Ravichandran for Oscar Films Pvt Ltd, Dasavatharam is a film awaited with great anticipation by the audience.

Competing for the young female audience is Penelope, starring Christina Ricci, about a rich girl whose nose looks like a pig's snout and is therefore shunned by those around her. On the surface, it may sound like a neat fairy-tale of a film, but Gene Seymour in Newsday writes that "there's no real rigor or craft applied to this story; just mood, tone, neo-Gothic imagery and frantic attitude." It's the film, not the character, that seems cursed, several critics suggest. Susan Walker in the Toronto Star notes that it has been two years since it originally debuted at the Toronto Film Festival and has sat on a shelf ever since. She adds: "Maybe there was more to that family curse than the filmmakers reckoned on, because now that it's finally released, Penelope seems destined for early oblivion." And many critics suggest that the main problem with the film is that even with a pig's snout, Christina Ricci doesn't look ugly at all. In fact, most of the critics remark, she looks awfully cute

MEET THE SPARTAN

This movie was really bad. I thought it would have been a lot funnier. For those of you who are totally in the dark this is a comedic parody of the movie 300, and I can't say that the movie totally lacked humor. I just expected to laugh a lot more than I did.
This movie simply failed to deliver. The concept followed to closely to the real movie with glaring inconsistencies. Like the masked guys in the original 300. They weren't pushed of the cliffs. It is also hard to tease a movie that movie fans really loved. The only thing that Meet The Spartans managed to do was point out two or three scenes that were absolutely ridiculous in 300.

Will Ferrell doesn't bring many critics to their feet cheering with his sports-related comedies, but he often does receive polite applause. Such is the case with Semi-Pro, in which Ferrell portrays the owner, coach, and star of a 1970s basketball team. Matt Zoller Seitz writes in the New York Times that the movie "finds the sweet spot between sports melodrama and parody, and hammers it for 90 diverting minutes." Claudia Puig in USA Today pronounces the film "definitely more than semi-funny" and concludes, "If you're a Ferrell fan, and if you enjoy his particular brand of eccentric tomfoolery, it's worth taking a chance on Semi-Pro." Michael Sragow in the Baltimore Sun also seems mildly amused. "The pacing and the staging are lackadaisical at best, but the virtue of this film's looseness is that it has some of the airy unpredictability of the best late-night TV comedy," he writes. Nevertheless, some critics blow the whistle on the movie. Kyle Smith in the New York Post leads off his review by remarking that "Semi Pro goes up for the dunk and misses the hoop, the backboard and the point." Jack Mathews in the New York Daily News compares Ferrell's performance in the movie with his real-life appearances on recent TV shows in which he ends up "embarrassing both the hosts and himself by acting crazy." In the same way, writes Mathews, "The movie itself leaps onto the screen and makes goofy faces at you without being either funny or involving."

Jodhaa Akbar gets clearance by MP High Court:

With the release of the movie Jodhaa Akbar there are many controversies for the release of the movie in Madyapradesh. Madhya Pradesh High Court has given some relief to Ronnie Screwvala and Ashutosh Gowarikar as it declared to eliminate the ban on Jodhaa Akbar in the state. Earlier this week, the distributors decided to take legal help against MP Government ban on the movie. MP Government had banned Jodhaa Akbar claiming that they wanted to avoid any kind of Law & Order problem over screening of it. Speaking on the verdict issued, Ashutosh welcomed the verdict with relief and admiration for the High Court judgment. The film portrays love between two cultures and religions through a marriage of alliance between a Mughal emperor and a Rajput princess. This is an alliance that took place 450 years ago; an alliance that we need to respect, admire and learn from even today. He also adds that a disclaimer had been inserted at the start of the film saying that the film is a work of fiction and it draws from history but at the same time it is not the exact representation of it and there can be other viewpoints.

VANTAGE POINT MOVIE REVIEW:

Vantage point is movie circling around the assassination/terrorist attack on the U.S. president. of the U.S. president. In Spain, at a landmark outdoor summit on the global war on terror, President Ashton (William Hurt) is shot and a bomb explodes, killing hundreds of people. There after the investigation is carried upon on the death of president. Every fifteen minutes after the death of the president the scenes in the film will be a recap of the incident from different point of views. These views are made by CNN-like news producer Sigourney Weaver, who is the first to witness the events; the Secret Service agents Dennis Quaid and Matthew Fox assigned to protect the president; an American tourist Forest Whitaker videotaping the historic event; a Spanish cop Eduardo Noriega who suspects what is going down by the surreptitious actions of his girlfriend Ayelet Zurer at the rally; and most importantly, the head terrorist Said Taghmaoui, who orchestrates it all. The investigation comes to an end after the consideration of different perspectives done. The story is really going interesting. I have to watch the movie too. Don’t miss it.

Our heroes Erik and Cooze pledge the infamous Beta Delta Xi House, and hilarity ensues as everyone gets swept up in the craziness, pranks, partying, and, of course, unpredictable sexual situations. Pitted against a rival House and their power-hungry leader, the rivalry gets so intense that only the long-banned competition, The Games, can settle the question of which House prevails. It's up to the Betas to pull together and prove that some traditions deserve to be upheld!

FOOL'S GOLD MOVIE REVIEW

It's early in the year, but I defy any 2008 comedy to be as stupid, slack and sexless as Fool's Gold. And I'm counting Paris Hilton's appalling The Hottie and the Nottie, which is marginally better. You want plot? Fool's Gold steals a few pages from, of all misbegotten things, the National Treasure franchise. A topless (brain included) Matthew McConaughey plays Ben "Finn" Finnegan, a treasure hunter who is totally convinced he has found a map to a Spanish galleon that sunk off the coast of Florida in 1715. His about-to-be ex-wife Tess, played by Kate Hudson with the woebegone expression of an actress who knows she's made another bad career decision, thinks he's nuts. But, damn, she still loves the guy, even though they fight. For the record, you're more likely to discover treasure under your multiplex seat than detect any chemistry between McConaughey and Hudson. Clumsily directed by Andy Tenant (Hitch), from a script he co-wrote with John Clafin and Daniel Zelman while presumably incapacitated on umbrella drinks, Fool's Gold is anchored only by idiocy. It's sad to see such excellent actors as Donald Sutherland and Ray Winstone trading audience goodwill for a paycheck. I could swear that Sutherland, as a tycoon with an heirhead daughter (Alexis Dziena), is trying to disguise his voice so audiences will forget it's him. Not so fast. Fool's Gold bores you so breathless you want to take names and exact punishment.
